Princess Scarlet's world is shattered when her father is brutally murdered. After failing to exact revenge, she awakens in a surreal realm—the “Land of the Dead”—where existence itself is threatened if she doesn’t reach the elusive "unseen place." Driven by vengeance yet teetering on the edge of oblivion, Scarlet embarks on a time-bending quest filled with peril and emotional reckoning.
Along the way, she encounters Hijiri, a kind-hearted modern-day nurse who challenges her fixation on revenge, offering hope for healing and a life beyond hatred. Together, they must confront fate, love, and what it truly means to live.

In a future where Earth is under siege by alien invaders known as “Mimics”, elite soldier Rita Vrataski finds herself trapped in an endless time loop—each time she dies in battle, she wakes to the same morning with full memory of what happened. Each cycle hones her skills, but the solitude and repetition begin to erode her spirit. Then she meets Keiji Kiriya, a new recruit also caught in the loop: together they must discover the key to breaking the cycle and ending humanity’s war. This retelling shifts focus to Rita’s perspective, exploring her burdens, fears and the emotional cost of being humanity’s weapon.
